HRV & ERV Cleaning

Heat Recovery Ventilators (HRVs) and Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs) are designed to improve indoor air quality by continuously exchanging stale indoor air with fresh outdoor air. These systems recover heat (and in the case of ERVs, moisture) from the outgoing air and transfer it to the incoming air, helping to maintain energy efficiency while providing proper ventilation.

Over time, dust, debris, and contaminants can accumulate within the unit, filters, and ducting. When not properly maintained, these contaminants can be redistributed into the air entering your home or facility, reducing air quality and system performance.

Our technicians perform a thorough cleaning of the HRV/ERV system using commercial-grade equipment, including high-powered vacuum systems, compressed air, and agitation tools. The service includes:

• Cleaning of the unit cabinet, blower components, and internal surfaces
• Cleaning of supply and exhaust duct connections
• Removal and cleaning of reusable filters and core components (where accessible)
• Air washing of filters and heat exchange core
• Cleaning of all associated vents and grilles
