What is furnace and duct cleaning?

Furnace and duct cleaning removes the dust, debris and contaminants that build up inside your heating system. New Age seals the vents, connects a HEPA-filtered 220V vacuum to the main plenum, agitates every register with high-powered air tools, cleans the furnace, and shows you before and after video of the result.

What's included

  • Unlimited supply (hot air) vents
  • All fresh air vents
  • Complete cleaning of supply and return ductwork
  • Thorough furnace cleaning
  • Before and after video documentation on every residential project

Better air, better efficiency

Professional air duct cleaning helps improve indoor air quality while making your heating and cooling system run more efficiently. Dust and debris in the ductwork restrict airflow, so your furnace works harder to move the same air.

No bulky hoses dragged through your home

We use powerful 220V hybrid vacuum systems with HEPA filtration. They can often be brought right into the home and connected directly to the main plenums, which means no large hoses running through the house during the coldest and hottest weeks of the year.

Access openings, sealed properly

Where it's needed for a complete clean, we create access openings in the ductwork. When the work is done, every access point is sealed with steel plates and properly covered.

Replacing your furnace or AC?

Have the ductwork cleaned first. A contaminated duct system restricts airflow and drags down the efficiency of brand-new equipment. Cleaning it beforehand helps your new system run at its best from day one.

How the cleaning works

  1. 1

    Seal the vents

Every supply and fresh air vent is sealed to build maximum suction through the system.

  2. 2

    Connect to the plenum

A 220V hybrid HEPA vacuum is connected directly to the main plenum, often from right inside the home.

  3. 3

    Agitate every register

High-powered air tools and agitation equipment work through each register, knocking dust and debris loose.

  4. 4

    Pull it all out

The loosened debris is drawn out of both the supply and return ductwork by the vacuum system.

  5. 5

    Show you the proof

You get before and after video so you can see exactly what came out of your system.

Furnace & Duct Cleaning questions

Unlimited supply vents, all fresh air vents, complete cleaning of the supply and return ductwork, and a thorough furnace cleaning. Every residential project also includes before and after video.

Usually not. Our 220V hybrid vacuum systems use HEPA filtration, so they can often be brought into the home and connected directly to the main plenums. That keeps large hoses out of your living space, especially in extreme hot or cold weather.

Only where it's necessary to get a complete clean. Every access opening is sealed with a steel plate and properly covered before we leave.

Yes, it's highly recommended. Dirty ductwork restricts airflow and reduces the efficiency of new equipment, so cleaning first helps the new system perform the way it should.

Yes. We clean furnace and duct systems in homes, businesses, schools and multi-unit buildings, and we offer flexible scheduling including after-hours work.
